At The HandStand Shop, it is known that even the smallest of ideas, driven by passion, heart, purpose and a little grit, can make a difference.
Hello, my name is Carlos and all this was created from just an idea. There was a lot of hard work behind that thinking, however, having determination and never giving up were definitely key factors. This all started in my shed, yes, my shed. I have done a lot of thinking in there and my mind has always been the type to always keep racing. I am always trying to come up with new ideas. With my career background as a 3D Mechanical Designer, coming up with a model to put my thoughts on paper were always fun. Needless to say, A LOT of ideas that became (or attempted to become) a model was something to look (and laugh) at. But one thing I never did was give up. I would always think to myself, “I know, somewhere in there, is a great contribution to the world, I can feel it”. One thought that I would have frequently and seemed unable to shake was the thought of a floor hand sanitizer dispenser stand. We all have seen them, they are everywhere. I just had ideas on how to make them more practical, convenient and with a little bit of style.
Why We Exist
The HandStand was born because I thought of a way to make the typical dispenser stand better. As like many others, there were a lot of hurdles, issues, and problems. I did not allow those setbacks to define me. I used them to push me, motivate me and keep me focused on the finished product. To share a great idea/product with the world. Whether it is a better way to organize inventory, to share sanitizer product with the public, even to advertise your facility, this shop exists to serve people who value creativity, practicality, and independence.

This site is not representing a faceless company. This site reflects who I am. I am a husband, a father, a dreamer and now an entrepreneur. Every design (even down to the logo – which is a silhouette of my daughter doing a handstand), every product, every decision is made to create a better future for my family and to leave a mark that matters.
